  • Tatsuya Maruyama

    Fingerstyle Guitarist Born in 1993 in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Currently based in Sendai, Miyagi. Started playing classical guitar at the age of 13 and began sharing music on YouTube at 14, marking the beginning of a musical journey. With just one guitar, creates a nostalgic yet urban sound through a variety of techniques. During university, selected as one of the 10 finalists from over 250 groups at the Sapporo City Jazz Park Jazz Live. In 2014, won the Audience Award at the Fingerpicking Contest hosted by Moridaira Gakki. Launched a full-fledged career as a guitarist in 2019, and as of 2024, has gained over 150,000 followers across social media. In 2023, collaborated with Headway Guitars to release a signature model, the HOC-NORTHBIRD. In recent years, has expanded into composing and producing music for TV shows, stage performances, and visual media. Also explores the fusion of fingerstyle guitar and lo-fi hip-hop through the solo project Mu Ted.
