Softsoul has been active as a top player group in the domestic soul scene, centered on the late drummer Shigeo Miyata (ex.ORIGINAL LOVE) who died in 2014. Japanese producers who are active in the world remix the songs from their first album "Timeless" released in May!
The long-awaited first album "Timeless", released 10 years after its formation in 2008, reproduces the sound of the golden period of 70s Seoul, inspired by the Paradise Garage of New York, It became a masterpiece that should be called a requiem for Miyata who was a mania. Two of the recorded songs were remixed by world-wide disco producer T-Groove, and Boston-based Monfill, N'Dea Davenport and other producers such as N'Dea Davenport. Remixed "Take Me feat. Mizuki Kamata", which became a hot topic as a pre-delivered song for the album, and was aired on the radio mainly in the UK, with a combination of Monolog and T-Groove = Golden Bridge. Rare Groove classic "Aint No Stopping Us Now" is a masterpiece that is filled with a mellow, mellow voice of stringstrings and a vibrant violin with a Philly soul-like disco number in diameter! The song remixed by Hanah Spring's "Hypnotized feat. Daisuke" by T-Groove is a Latin flavor medium number with Daisuke's high-tone voice reminiscent of Curtis Mayfield, which is also a wonderful remix.
