Following the 2nd EP 'Have you found your home?', Kiss The Gambler is going to share her 3rd EP 'SUMMER SUNRISE / GINGER' via Maruku Records on Sep. 17, 2020.
This EP contains 2 versions of both 'SUMMER SUNRISE' and 'GINGER', both of which are the representative songs of kiss the gambler.
You can listen to the band version and the acoustic version of 'SUMMER SUNRISE' in this EP. Yuki Kawasaki (Drums) from Boyish, Natsuhiko (Guitars) from ARAM, and Yusura Murata (Base) played the band version, and Natsuhiko (Guitar) played the acoustic guitar in the acoustic version.
In celebration of the release of 'SUMMER SUNRISE', Kiss The Gambler is going to share her 1st music video for it. The concept of this video was written and filmed by her close friend, Kaya Koike from Love Wonderland (his latest work, 'fin.', was selected for the PFF Awards 2020 in the Competition Division of the 42nd PIA Film Festival). You can definitely enjoy the dynamic scene that Kiss The Gambler runs very fast singing with the sunrise in her back.
In regarding to 'GINGER', in addition to the reggae version that the home recording music team 'shakebossa' arranged and mixed, the DUB MIX version was also recorded in this EP which was mixed by Takujuro Iwade from Honjitsukyuen and Love Wonderland.
kiss the gambler is a Japanese indie pop singer-songwriter famous for her nostalgic worldview and rich sensibility. With a breathtakingly transparent voice like that of a boy before his voice change, as well as the rhythmic lyrics that penetrate into the audience's heart, kiss the gambler's music is highly evaluated and commonly described as addictive and evocative. Based in Tokyo, kiss the gambler began performing live in 2018 singing with a piano and sometimes in band sets. In the summer of 2021, she released her first album "Mokusou (Meditation)" on CD, cassette tape and music subscription services, followed by a 7-inch record ''Fresh'' and an LP record version of "Mokusou (Meditation)" both released in April 2022 with Rhion Record. From May 2022, she is having her first national tour together with Kazaho Okabayashi, a singer-songwriter from Gifu, Japan.
