Romanesco Roman is a five-piece alternative rock band based in Nagoya, Japan.
Formed in April 2024 around bassist Katsuta (of my young animal), the band began its activities under the current lineup in September of the same year.

Blending elements of alternative, indie rock, shoegaze, and post-rock, their sound weaves diverse musical influences into a cohesive whole. Fronted by vocalist and synth player Sumi, the bands music features her addictive voice and evocative lyrics, creating an unmistakably alternative sonic experience.

In spring 2025, Romanesco Roman is set to release a 6-track EP.
