AQ, Chapter Two - "W.W" Touches Down on Solid Ground
A year and four months after the debut album S.E.A.
W.W is Chapter Two - the "Earth Chapter" - picking up where the previous album's "Deep Sea Chapter" left off.
Gone is the dark, mysterious AQ of S.E.A. What this record paints instead is something closer, rawer, and a little bit ridiculous - the four of them at their most human.
Inuma Ruka, Hanaakari Gin, Gogomori Roku, Nakashima Mota.
Four utterly distinct personalities collide, crack up laughing, and now and then trade lines like a comedy sketch.
From the deep sea to solid ground. From an enigmatic AQ to an unmistakably human one. Funny, startling, slightly odd - and above all, crazy about the music.
This is AQ's W.W.
It may not be the pretty "wonderful world" of the phrase. But this is the slightly off-kilter Wonderful World the four of them found on dry land.
