  • Kurohibi

Tsugaru Shamisen Vocaloid Producer. Originally a Tsugaru Shamisen performer, this artist entered the Vocaloid scene to broaden the appeal of the shamisen to wider audiences. Focusing on original compositions that feature the distinct tones of the shamisen, they strive daily to create a world where the sound of the shamisen is naturally embraced within contemporary music. Performs as "Masato Yoshigai" when playing the Tsugaru Shamisen. They began playing shamisen in elementary school, and started formal training under a master during their second year of high school. In March 2021, they inherited the name Kimiteru Murakami under the Murakami Sangendo school, and were promoted to Associate Instructor the following year. In December 2021, they won Second Prize in the international online shamisen competition "Bachido Cup".
