The Jimmu expedition is a historical event in which Emperor Jimmu, the first emperor of Japan, is said to have united Japan by marching eastward to Yamato. According to mythology, Emperor Jinmu was guided on his way by the three-legged Yatagarasu, a messenger of the sun god. I have created an energetic song based on this story.
