  • EPICH

    EPICH is a project by Mitsuo Kabuki (composer, pf, key). A coined word combining EPIC (epic, squid) and ECHO (sound). It means to express a story that touches the heartstrings with the sound of the song. A trio of Mitsuo Kabuki, Keisuke Furuki on bass, and Kaoru Suzuki on drums will be joined by guest musicians. Mitsuo Kabuki Composer, pianist, keyboardist. Graduated from Yokohama City University. After 23 years old, he started playing the piano for the first time. Studied jazz piano under Shigeru Sawamura, Keiko Kato, Takafumi Kojima, and Akihiko Matsui. Participated in Akihiko Matsui's GROOVE X. Currently, he is performing live in various parts of the Tokyo metropolitan area and each region of Japan with his own project "EPICH". At the 2017 International songwriting competition, his composition "AKITA" won the semi-finalist award. Participated in Akihiko Matsui's "GROOVE X" released in 2012 on the piano. Released in 2014, participated in the violinist Mizuki Shikimachi "Driftwood's Ballad" on the piano. Released 1st album "EPICH" from 2016 John Record. In 2018, the final from Reco will be held at Motion Blue Yokohama with great success. In 2022, the songs from the second album will be released as a single.
