  • RILY

    RILY is a singer songwriter from Kanagawa, Japan Heavily influenced by Black music such as R&B, Soul, and Hip Hop, her sound also blends elements of Japanese kayokyoku and rock, creating a genre crossing groove. She is also active as a DJ in Tokyo club scene. Since 2024, she has been based in her hometown Machida, where she launched an independent event series called DISCO IN TO YOU, featuring bands, rappers, and DJs from all over Japan. She explores various genres like House and Techno while building her own unique style through connections with different scenes. On April 25, 2025, she releases the double A side single Sweet Sorrow MOON Beams, fully produced by ALTA ALTA, known as the bassist and composer for bands like HOTVOX, Larks Lou, and mother. The project is based on the theme Onko Chishin, which means learning from the past to create something new. With a sweet, melancholic, and bluesy voice, RILY delivers honest lyrics that blend with a nostalgic yet modern sound, creating a timeless love song that resonates across generations.
