Miwa mountain hides beneath the springtime haze

Unknown to all, the flowers bloom in secret ways

How long will my heart yearn across the fields so wide

If blossoms never fall, time may forever bide

Mist rises on the distant hills of spring

The wind that blows brings hints of flowers it brings

Along the trees, petals dance upon the breeze

To whom do they belong? Whose heart will they tease?

Let’s ride our horses, see the homeland fair

Even with snow, the flowers scatter there

Colors of petals fade too soon, they fly

While I gaze upon life passing quietly by

Across the springtime hills with my azusa bow

Paths vanish, petals scatter where we go

Even today, when I forget to cherish spring

Do the flowers stand still, or fleetingly cling?
