"I want to erect a new sign for this town," said S4K.clear, teaming up with fellow Hokkaido DJ YOSUKE to complete "BECOME MUSIC."

The two met on set in 2024 and began collaborating, creating their first work together: "Banger," the opening track on S4K.clear's second EP, "Record."

This album began in 2025 at S4K.clear's request to create a six-song EP, and was produced by YOSUKE. Tracks were produced and recorded at each studio, after which the album was finalized at YOSUKE's studio.

"This album, which combines our respective ideas, is explosively powerful not only as a song but also in live performances, so I'm excited to see what the future holds," says S4K.clear.

    Rapper/artist S4K.clear (Syke) based in Sapporo, Hokkaido. It is strongly influenced by UK style beats such as UK drill, UK galage, and melodic drill, and is attracting attention with its unique musical style that carries lyric with subtle emotions on it. In the 1st EP For me, released in 2023, he impressed his presence in the underground scene with his straight words approaching his inner self and his delicate and core flow. And with the 2nd EP Record released in December 2024, its expressiveness and musicality added more depth. Record, which consists of all six songs, is a work that carefully scoops up pieces of emotions, contradictions, hesitation, and hope in S4K.clear's daily life into sound. It skillfully moves back and forth between rap and melody while focusing on the hard sound of the UK drill/garage, giving listeners a strong sense of immersion. S4K.clear is also known as the centerpiece of Sapporo-based crew A-COMPANY, and participated in multiple songs in the group's album CARAVAN released in 2025. While focusing on the local area, they are steadily advancing their activities with a view to making a leap into a national ward. Using life-size conflicts as a weapon, S4K.clear is a new generation artist who continues to engrave the voice of the present in the most realistic way.
