『Pulse: 1.0』は、まるで“夜の空気”を丁寧にキュレーションするように流れていくミニアルバムだ。オープニングの「Fading In」は、タイトルどおり輪郭の曖昧な光がじわっと差し込む導入で、静かなビートの中に期待感を仕込んでくる。続く「Fell All Night」は、その光を夜の奥へ沈めるような一曲で、低くうねるグルーヴと感情の熱が、眠るというより“夜に身を委ねる”感覚をつくる。先行シングルの「zip.file」はさらにミニマルで、感情や記憶を圧縮して閉じ込めたような冷たさがありながら、その内側にまだ脈が残っているのが面白い。そしてボーナストラックの「Blue Hour」は、朝と夜の境界を漂うように、余韻を残しながら静かに視界を開いていく。全体を通して、都会的でチル、でもただ心地いいだけではなく、どこか切実で、少しだけ次の一歩を促すような温度がある。聴き終わったあとに残るのは説明ではなく、胸の奥でまだ鳴っているpulse(鼓動)の感覚だ。
