幼少の頃から歌うことが大好きで、小学5年生より本格的なボイストレーニンングを開始する。その1カ月後には初のステージに立ち、ライブハウスやイベント、路上などでのライブ活動を勢力的に重ねる。 一流ミュージシャンへの登竜門として有名な、ニューヨーク アポロシアターの「アマチュアナイト」への出場権をかけた、「アポロアマチュアナイトJAPAN２０１９」では、約１２００人の中からファイナリストに選ばれるなど、数々の歌のアマチュア賞レースにも参加、多くの高成績を収め注目を集める。 「JAPAN MODELS」ヴォーカルコンテストの副賞で制作したオリジナル楽曲では、自身で作詞も手掛け、iTunes R&Bチャートで初動8位を記録。メディア露出のない無名インディーズアーティストの快挙として話題となる。 全国で一気に注目を集めるきっかけとなったのは、テレビ東京系の人気テレビ番組 ＴＨＥカラオケ★バトル「U-18歌うま甲子園 2020頂上決戦」への出演で、将来の目標でもあるMISIAの『忘れない日々』を熱唱。その圧倒的な歌唱力が高い評価を受け、知名度が高まる。 今回、beachwalkers.キャンプ事業「camp b.」のアーティストオーディションでグランプリを受賞し、メジャーデビューを果たす。 4月の本格デビューを前に、2021年２月28日に開催された「東京ガールズコレクション２０２１SS」の「camp b.」ステージでのオープニングアクトに立ち、デビュー曲を熱唱。神から授かった天井の声と高評価を受ける。

  • Hina Shimokita

    Hina Shimokita loved to sing from the time she was a young girl, and started formal voice training when she was in the 5th grade of elementary school. A month later, she made her debut on stage, and since then she has been actively performing at clubs with live music, events, and on streets. Shimokita was selected from around 1,200 entries as a finalist for "Apollo Amateur Night Japan 2019" in the "Amateur Night" series of events at New York Apollo Theater, well known as a stepping-stone for aspiring musicians. She also participated in numerous singing contests for amateurs where she earned high scores and attracted considerable attention. An original song that was produced as a supplementary prize in the Japan Models vocal contest, for which she wrote the lyrics herself, rose to 8th place on the iTunes R&B chart in its debut on the charts. This was reported as a remarkable accomplishment for an obscure indies artist that had no media exposure. The event that catapulted Shimokita to nationwide acclaim was her powerful performance in "U-18 Uta-uma Koshien (U-18 Singing Contest), 2020 top decisive battles" in THE Karaoke Battle, a popular program on the TV Tokyo network, where she sang "Wasurenai Hibi (Unforgettable Days)" by MISIA, a Japanese singer-songwriter who has been her inspiration for the future. Shimokita won a Grand Prix in the artist audition of "camp b.", a camping project of the beachwalkers., marking a major debut. Ahead of her formal debut in April, Shimokita appeared in the opening act on the "camp b." stage of "Tokyo Girls Collection 2021 Spring/Summer" on February 28, 2021, where she gave a masterful performance of her debut song. She received high acclaim as a divine voice from above.
