Following their selection as a Spotify Early Noise artist the previous year, ziproom returns with their latest EP, NEW GAME, marking a new chapter as an independent act.

Created with the mindset of starting a new game, the EP captures everything the collective gained-and everything they lost-during two years of life in Tokyo.

Serving as both a reset and a fresh start, NEW GAME is a deeply personal record. Across four tracks, ziproom lays bare their struggles, growth, and the hope that emerged along the way.

The EP features Kobe-based rapper uglyboooi on Peter Parker and includes the previously released single Re:fresh, alongside Early Noise and get a million.Together, these four tracks offer an unfiltered snapshot of where ziproom stands today.

Artist Profile

Ziproom
Kobe-based hip-hop collective Ziproom produces and mixes their own tracks with their own unique interpretations. The songs by the two rappers, who have various musical backgrounds such as techno, house, dub, ambient, and hip-hop, draw you in with their unique sense of tension. In January 2024, he released his first EP "unzip". They value encounters on the dance floor, and have deep ties to the Japanese dance music scene, with Kotsu (CYK) in charge of the single's artwork. Keep an eye on them as their album is scheduled to be released in late April.
