• YUKI

  YUKI is a singer-songwriter who self-produces everything from songwriting to distribution, armed with powerful vocals, meaningful lyrics, and memorable melodies. Born on April 15, 1986, in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, he began his music career in earnest in 2005. He belonged to a talent agency in Tokyo, received vocal training, and performed street live shows with his original songs. He gained experience by commuting from Nagoya to Tokyo, and actively performed live shows, including participating in the omnibus CD "Future" and performing at a release live show at Shibuya CLUB asia. At one point, he felt he had reached his limits and took a break from music, but he refused to give up on his dream and restarted his career in April 2021 with the digital single "Freedom." Since then, he has continued to release music mainly through subscription services, and has expanded his listener base through live performances, regular appearances on radio programs, and social media activity. In February 2023, he released his long-awaited CD that was distributed nationwide. "Be-Trip" and "Gyakuyume," which also ranked highly on the Taiwan iTunes charts, were re-imagined and released as electronic dance music. "Be-Trip" sold out at the Tower Records Shibuya store's main booth on the first floor and reached 15th place on the Oricon Weekly Ranking. "Gyakuyume" also sold out in stores and received high praise. Furthermore, a homecoming solo live show, "Be-Free," was held at CLUB QUATTRO in Nagoya. The tickets sold out, proving their ability to draw audiences and their stage performance in their hometown. While building a track record in the fields of digital distribution, CDs, and live performances, they continue their musical activities and are currently working towards their next development.
