Late Summer Wind Bell is a mid tempo city pop track that portrays the lingering trace of a nameless summer love through the sound of a glass wind bell left hanging under the eaves.
A window in Yoyogi-Uehara lit by the setting sun, the bell he chose at a night stall, a paper slip drained of color, a thread scorched and nearly unwound, and a single clear chime called up by a late summer gust create a quiet scene where a summer she cannot quite end still rings on at the eaves.

Performed by the fictional AI singer Akemi, the song captures the emotions of adulthood that refuses to stretch the season out with sound, yet mishears that one chime as still here, and chooses for herself when the bell will ring again.
Inspired by the late 1970s to early 1980s Japanese new music and city pop, the track reimagines that era lyrical subtlety through images of late summer eaves, the seasonal ornament of a wind bell, and the humid quiet of an evening walk home.

Pinching the clapper inside the bowl, she stills the misheard sound, loosens the thread, and lays the slip in a paulownia box.
Without ever saying take it with you, she closes the lid and takes the lingering echo of a spent summer back into her own hands.
