An Okinawan singer-songwriter ARAKAKI Hiroko's first full album released on 2015. She broke new ground through DTM track "Job Change" as its opening, then put a simple and beautiful ballad "She'd Surely Say So" with cello and piano. It also contains other various tunes, such as "Song of Puffin" with all members of Hyouri Takahashi (from Owarikara) Solo Project which she is in.
"Trembling Breath", which has been warmed up for many years, has recorded with a full set arrangement that includes strings.
The director Hibiki Nishikawa, who plays bass on JETZEJOHNSON and provides tracks to other artists made its sound high quality.
Her look toward Society that floats in the lyrics throughout the album is open to outside Japan intrinsically.
"Naraibusan(I Want to Learn)", which incorporated the Okinawan language (Uchinaaguchi) and has sublimated into a magnificent, powerful and universal sound, reflects sensitively the era by making you feel the duality/ethnicity of Okinawan light and shadow.
[Language of lyrics] Japanese(M1~8), Japanese/Okinawan(M9), English(M10)
