“ネオサーフミュージック”をかかげるUEBOが、原点であるアコースティックギター１本の弾き語りに立ち返り作曲した楽曲に、アクセントを加えていくというもの。今回の「Wish」のテーマは冬、そしてクリスマス。第1弾の「Stand」に続き、アレンジャーにAwesome City Clubのモリシーを迎えて制作した。

ジャズやボッサを軸とした暖かみのある曲に折り重なっていく、音のレイヤーから浮かび上がる冬景色は壮観。子供の頃に思いを馳せつつ聖夜を楽しむ、ポジティブバイブなノスタルジーにほっこりする歌詞も実に魅力的だ。そしてUEBOとしては新しい試みである3拍子パートを取り入れたアレンジが、ウィンターワンダーな世界観をより豊かに演出していることもポイントだろう。まさにクリスマスにピッタリな楽曲になっている。
