NOW

NOW is an album originally released under the name "Yohei" by the singer-songwriter now known as Yohei Hamabata.

First released in 2013, the album returns after all these years, now available digitally for the first time.

Caught between who he was and who he was still trying to become, these nine songs were born in a time of searching, struggling, and finding no other way forward but to sing about the "now."

Songs about everyday life, encounters and farewells, and love.
In the voice and sound of those days, you can hear the beginnings of the music that would eventually lead him to where he is today as Yohei Hamabata.

Thirteen years have passed.
Carrying with him all that has changed-and all that has remained the same-

"Yohei" and his album NOW return once more, reaching us here in the "now" of 2026.
