  RIKA is a piano-playing singer-songwriter. Born on June 9, I carry on and sing the songs of my late older brother, who was born on June 9 and was active in a rock band. While studying at university in the UK, I was deeply moved by street performers who sang as if appealing directly to each individual listener. Inspired by this experience, I began my career as an artist after graduating. In April 2018, I started writing my own lyrics and composing music, and soon after began performing as a singer-songwriter in live houses and through street performances. However, shortly after starting my activities, my brother suddenly passed away. Since then, while continuing to write and compose my own music, I have been driven by a strong desire to share my brothers songs and preserve proof of his life. My dream is to hold a two-man live concert at Yokohama Stadium a dream my late brother once had. I successfully held solo concerts with audiences of 100 people in October 2019 and March 2020, and in 2021, she performed at a gateway to success music event. On February 23, 2022, she received Special Award and Rookie Award at the World Creator Award 2021 Japan.
