Shelter in the Sound is a soulful UK Deep House track that captures the transition from the freezing rains of Hackney to the golden warmth of a subterranean dancefloor. Set at a steady 122 BPM, the track features deep, rounded basslines, atmospheric synth pads, and evocative female vocals that resonate with both longing and relief.
Drawing sonic inspiration from the meticulous production style of Yasutaka Nakata and the polished textures of Perfume, this track blends high-fidelity precision with organic, sentimental lo-fi nuances. It is a melodic invitation to leave the frozen world behind and find "shelter" in a groove that turns London grey into pure gold.
As BEMO3, I have been passionate about music from a young age, starting violin lessons at the age of 3. I began composing music in middle school and played keyboards and drums in a band throughout high school and university. I further honed my skills in London, where I studied DJing and composition, and had the opportunity to DJ at the Golden Bee. Using ABLETON LIVE, I primarily create deep house music with the aim of touching people's hearts.
