Japan ' s rising R&B/Soul DIVA Satone releases her long-awaited debut album. An intersection of her roots in Black music and her Japanese identity, with a husky yet soulful voice born from her soul deep down. Satone delivers a sound shaped by training in Harlem, New York, and performing with a gospel teen choir at stages including Billboard Osaka. Blending classic R&B warmth with a modern taste, the album features 10 emotionally rich tracks.
The past she kept buried in her heart, facing prejudice as a woman of international background and chasing her dream to be a singer, Satone confronts everything. Her lyrics, raw and honest, resonate with those silently struggling with unrecognized pain and the complexities of living with sensitive soul.
In addition to songs she wrote herself, the album includes contributions from powerful producers such as Shuma Mori.
This is more than just a debut; it's an album about returning to herself. About a heartfelt dedication to the mentors, family, friends, and all those who helped shape the path to her destiny.
Following her breakout single "Back To Me", which gained attention across Osaka to Tokyo regions, Satone now fully unveils her true artistry.
A bold new force in the Japanese R&B scene is born; an artist blending heritage, pain, strength, and soul into one powerful musical statement.
Satone grew up under a global background, living in Texas, USA and studying at international schools. She is trilingual in English, Japanese, and Spanish. She was exposed to Gospel choir in church, which led her to perform in BillBoard Live Osaka and Golden Ribbon Charity Osaka. Later at the age of 19, she spends her time in New York to enhance her vocal and pursued performing at Apollo Theater. After coming back to Japan and turning 20, she starts her career as a singer with roots in black music starting from R&B, Jazz, Soul and Funk. She will perform at 2025 Okinawa Collection opening act, and at the same time announces the 1st album; Back To Me.
