UEBO Releases I Surrender, a Summer Love Anthem!

UEBO, who calls his music Neo-Surf Music, continues to release albums, perform live, and stream content, much like the people living by the ocean who embrace surfing as a lifestyle. While he has created a diverse range of songs from various angles including acoustic guitar solo performances, band arrangements, and entirely self-produced tracks this new release takes his innate flexibility to a more pop-oriented level.

Its a down-to-earth love song that cheers on a slightly pathetic romance the kind where the one who falls in love loses.
While returning to the roots of straightforward pop, the track reveals a new side through its upbeat 8-beat rhythm, warm bassline, sweet melody with a hint of bitterness, and genre-defying arrangement.
The vocals, which rhythmically carve out the lyrics, and the interlude marked by a bouncy beat and earthy guitar hint at the exhilaration of a live performance.     千葉県出⾝のシンガーソングライター。 作詞作曲に加えトラックメイク/アレンジも⾃ら⼿掛ける。 “ネオ・サーフミュージック”をテーマに掲げた、オーセンティックなサーフミュージックはもちろん、フォークやロック、レゲエからコンテンポラリーなR&B/ヒップホップまで、年代もジャンルも⾃由に往来する、独⾃のレイドバックしたミクスチャー感覚は唯⼀。ソフトなタッチだからこそ⽿に残るメロディーとボーカルとともに⽣み出される楽曲群は、ときに⽇常の⽣活や景⾊に溶け込み、ときに⽇々の喧騒から静かな砂浜へと誘ってくれるよう。 2020年11⽉から、12カ⽉連続でシングルをリリースし話題に。 2021年2⽉公開の「Lights」を使⽤した中国電⼒WEB CMが150万再⽣突破。 2021年5⽉リリースの第8弾「Drops」は秘密のケンミンSHOW極（読売テレビ・⽇本テレビ系全国ネット）のエンディングテーマに決定。 2021年11⽉20⽇に12カ⽉連続シングルリリースの集⼤成としてワンマンライブも完売。 2022年3⽉2⽇には、Awesome City Clubからモリシーをアレンジャーに迎え、本⼈のルーツであるアコースティックミュージックをベースにしたNEW EP「+1」を発表。リード曲「Predawan」が、α-STATION「HELLO!KYOTO POWER MUSIC」に選出される。「+1」リリース記念のモリシー（Awesome City Club)をサポートに迎えたアコースティックワンマンライブも開催した。 2022年11月2日配信リリースEP「Harf and Harf」から「Circle」「めんどくさいや」は複数のラジオ曲のパワープレイに選出されるなど注目を集める中、渋谷wwwで行われたリリースパーティも大盛況に終える。2022年は、niko and UNI9UE PARK、OCEAN PEOPLES、Chillin‘ Vibes、SATURDAY MAGNIFICENT CAMP LIVE ON-AIR from ロハスフェスタ万博 2022など数多くの野外フェスに出演した。2023年にはSYNCHRONICITY’23 - Pre-Party!! –、SIMCITY-FIVE NEW OLD、Deep Sea Diving Club-のオープニングアクト、kojikoji、奇妙礼太郎との３マン企画へ出演。 2025年11月ニューアルバム「Bitter Sweet」リリースし、ザ・おめでたズとmacicoを招いたリリースパーティ、さらに2026年3月にはワンマンライブを下北沢ADRIFTにて開催し大成功を収めている。
