Hiroaki Nakashima is the vocalist and leader of I-ai-, a rock band that has been active in Japan and overseas since 2000.

He was born in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. He lives in Tokyo. He is the vocalist of the Japanese rock band I-ai- and a composer who produces and performs most of their songs. He made his nationwide debut in 2004 as the leader of I, a rock band he started in junior high school. 3 years after disbanding in 2008, he resumed his activities as the vocalist of I-ai- in 2011 with his older sister Yuki.
