MAYUMI YAMAZAKI

    MAYUMI YAMAZAKI

"Green Hearts" was created during a period of living closely with plants and quiet reflection.
Humans cannot live in a fully artificial environment, nor can we survive in untouched wilderness. We exist somewhere in between - breathing through contradiction, vulnerability, and resilience.

The EP centers around a vintage upright piano located in the artist's childhood home, cello by Robin Dupuy, acoustic guitar, and rhythm loops created from everyday sounds.
The opening track "mebuki" begins with field recordings of birds and wind captured at a local shrine, gradually expanding into a cinematic soundscape.

These songs reflect the quiet power of daily life - pausing, noticing, accepting the passage of time, and continuing to live gently.

"Green Hearts" does not shout. It breathes.
