Kōya Ogata (ex. THE CHERRY COKE$) has released a new song.

This song is a collaboration with Sotto Chakka, a Japanese tea brand located in an unexplored region of Shimane Prefecture.
There is a tea plantation near the spring water "Sukehando" at the top of the mountain, a tributary of the Takatsu River, which has been voted "Seiryu Nihon No.1" many times, and the song was recorded in the field by visiting the spring water and tea plantation.
I was moved by the gentle but refreshing sound of the wind rustling the leaves from the majestic landscape, the whispering of birds, and the sound of a stream flowing into a tea plantation, and sublimated the music as a supreme soundscape/drone ambient that does not disturb the space.

At THE CHERRY COKE$ I belonged until 2014, I appeared in various music festivals throughout the country, including COUNT DOWN JAPAN / FUJIROCK FESTIVAL. Passing from one place to another, and finally I started music activities as solo in 2017, centering on Minimal Music/Post classical/Ambient Music. In November 2017, in New York, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa who is a shoes artist. In concert with performances abroad, I presented a music for the solo exhibition which will be the first work after solo. In December 2018, in London, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa. The first cassette SENSE1 was released in 2018. In January 2020, he joined a compilation album from the Italian contemporary music label "Blue Spiral Records". The second cassette SENSE2 was released in 2020. The third cassette SENSE3 was released in 2022. In May of the same year, he was in charge of sound art for Misawa's solo exhibition in Sapporo. In March 2023, in Singapore, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa. In February 2024, in Paris, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa. In January 2025, in Tokyo, I took charge of soundscape design at a solo exhibition of Mr. Noriyuki Misawa. In May 2025, Music for Noriyuki Misawa's exhibition video at Expo '25 Osaka/Kansai.
