On a train now, going far away
Leaving home now, a new place to stay
Got a suitcase, and a small gun
Got a new hat, ready for fun
On a travel, to foreign lands
Last stop is, the land of Japan
The first stop is, lake town Hallstatt
Heard it’s picturesque, want to stay the night
High altitude mountain air will do me good
My rudimentary German misunderstood
My tailor made suit, will be respected
Small snaps bottles, will be collected
This, classic train, is how, I imagined it
Chandeliers, butlers and rooms are candle lit
Sleeper rooms with no bunk beds
Bottle of wine, all to myself
But at night there are very many strange sounds
Someone’s sneaking through the hall
Someone’s yelling in the night
Listening for threats in the dark
Keep my gun close to my heart
My back is against the wall
Eyes locked on the door
I have already made an escape plan
Jump out the window
Before I have to waste a man
Run into the dark
Where they cannot see me
Eat a packed lunch
Surviving is so easy
Befriend some bears
Become their king
Eat fresh salmon
And run with the wind
Form a new country
Call it New Bear Land
Start a few wars
Become the world’s richest man
A bang wakes me up
I must have been asleep
Commotion in the hall
The voice yelling is so deep
Did anyone, see
Did anyone, hear her
The voice grows grave
There has been a murder
Everyone is gathered in the restaurant car
A small chubby is standing by the bar
With a round hat and a small mustache
His manners are mild but his eyes are hard
The general is sitting in the corner with his gun
The diva by the window with a smoke and a rum
The servant boy has his eyes fixed on the floor
Police man is hiding in the shadow of the door
The small round man, starts his deduction
Pacing up and down, talking of destruction
The general had been there, early in the night
The diva paid a visit, under guise of a fright
The servant came by, to ask for his master
But when there was no answer, he feared disaster
He tried to open but the door was locked from the inside
He tried to yell but it was no returned for a long time
But who was the one, that saw him last
Who is the one, that knew him from the past
Who has the key, to every door
Who has money, but still wants more
The police man starts running
The police man starts running
