島津の軍勢 鶴崎へ迫る

残るは年寄り 女と農民
板と畳で 砦を組ませ
鉄砲の撃ち方 一から教えた

力じゃないなら 知恵で勝て
落とし穴 鳴子 鉄砲の列

兵糧 尽きかけ 和睦で開城
敵将もてなし 酒を酌む
笑顔の下で 時を待った
年が明けて 天正十五年
秀吉の軍が 九州へ入る
島津が退く その朝が来た
十六度 来ても 十六度 返す
力じゃないなら 知恵で勝て

焦るな 待つのも 戦のうち
勝負どころは 一度でいい
その一度のため 今日を積む
静かに 備えろ

伏せた兵が 背中を突く
討ち取る首は 六十三
伊集院 白浜 ここに倒れた
秀吉 会いたいと 望んだが
