Caught the sun on my back, where the pine trees grow
Dust on my shoes, down the lane I go
Whispers of the wind, callin’ out my name
Mountain breeze never feels the same
And the clouds roll fast, above the golden rye
Heartbeats match the rhythm of the sky
Take me down that country road
Where the mountains hum and the wildflowers glow
Past the fences, past the stone
I feel at home, even on my own
Fields stretch wide, like an old soul’s dream
Children laugh by the silver stream
Old wood cabins and rusted rails
Stories sleeping in the silent trails
Under skies that bloom in violet light
Everything just feels so right
Take me down that country road
Where the mountains hum and the wildflowers glow
Past the fences, past the stone
I feel at home, even on my own
Echoes in the valley, carried by the night
Footsteps fading, soft and light
No map needed, I already know —
The road remembers where I go
Take me down that country road
Where time is slow and stories unfold
Let the forest keep its code
I’ll follow dreams down the country road

Artist Profile
starclime
There are still landscapes in music that we have yet to see. starclime is a fourteen-member music project. Taking City Pop as one of its starting points, starclime moves freely through rock, jazz, soul, R&B,EDM, classical music, ambient, experimental music, hip-hop, and musical traditions from around the world. Rather than remaining within a single genre, the project absorbs the colour, rhythm, culture and atmosphere of different forms of music, reshaping them into something new. The changing seasons. Journeys towards unfamiliar places. Memories of somewhere to return to. The distance between people. Feelings that lie beyond words. These landscapes and emotions flow throughout the music of starclime. Some things can only be expressed through song. Others only begin to reveal themselves when words disappear. For starclime, vocal works and instrumentals therefore belong equally to the same musical world. Each member brings a different musical background and a different perspective to every work, while some continue to discover and develop their own musical identity. Rather than preserving a single finished form, starclime allows the music itself to grow through change. starclime does not seek simply to add more genres. Its aim is to renew the way music itself can be perceived through the meeting of different musical worlds. Towards music that has yet to be named. Towards landscapes we have yet to discover. starclime will continue to present new ways of seeing and hearing music.
