本作は、上白石萌音への楽曲提供でも知られる「こたろう」が作曲を、そして「いつから」を手掛けた「MASHOE」が編曲を担当。疾走感あふれるアップテンポなサウンドに乗せて、Inyの新たな魅力とこれまでのアイデンティティが力強く交差する1曲となっている。
タイトルである『ポラリス（北極星）』に込められたのは、「普遍的な大切にしたいもの」や「今は遠ざかっていても、かつて大事だった思い」。

    She became famous overnight with the most buzzed song on TikTok in 2023, "High School Girls Singing". After graduating, her popularity skyrocketed with theme song tie-ups for dramas and movies. She has been releasing songs every month since September 2024. In 2025, she successfully sold out her first solo live show and held her first national tour. She has grown as a musician, incorporating various genres such as jazz, bossa nova, funk, R&B, and HipHop, and has developed her own music and personality.
