In 1960, the hippie movement spread in the world.
The world changing experiment brought freedom to the young people. And it collapsed in the end of the 60s.

50 years later, the Rock music has been corrupted. And the world also japan, is under globalism and neo-liberalism.

Some people tired of the lost 30 years, bipolarization and immobilization of social hierarchy, dispatch cut, power harassment, illegality, rose in revolt against the society as "NEET", Not in Education, Employment or Training. And they are like hippies in 60s.

Here's the running away from labor, the Vietnam War for us.

Re-Editing the Modern World Through Rock 'n' Roll. Rock 'n' Roll for the Misfits. Beat the Beatles. Yuyakeshiwasu & Swlabrs is a Japanese psychedelic rock band led by songwriter and musician Yusuke Hayashi. Formerly a member of the Japanese rock band Subarashika, Hayashi launched Yuyakeshiwasu as a solo project before expanding it into a full band. Since then, the project has released five full-length albums, as well as vinyl LPs and 7-inch singles. Inspired by the concept albums of 1960s psychedelic rock, Yuyakeshiwasu creates self-contained worlds built around recurring characters, mythology, and storytelling. Albums function as narratives rather than collections of songs, blurring the boundaries between fiction and reality. Over the years, the project has introduced personas such as The New NEET, The Resentful Man, and The Rock 'n' Roll Cult Leader, exploring the lives of social outsiders, conspiracy believers, religious fanatics, and others pushed to the margins of contemporary society. Their music transforms these overlooked emotions into what they call "Rock 'n' Roll for the Misfits." In 2025, Yuyakeshiwasu released the vinyl LP Shonan Psyche through ROSE RECORDS, the label founded by Keiichi Sokabe of Sunny Day Service. The following release, Psychedelic Christmas, was created in collaboration with painter Mao Haimura and presented as a modern rock opera combining music, visual art, and storytelling through a CD and original picture book. Drawing from psychedelic rock, garage rock, folk rock, and the tradition of Japanese-language rock music, the band transforms internet-age anxieties and modern myths into contemporary rock 'n' roll narratives. Their ambition is to build a body of work capable of standing alongside the greatest acts in rock history. They dream of performing at Nippon Budokan, Royal Albert Hall, and The Fillmore while bringing a distinctly Japanese vision of rock 'n' roll to audiences around the world. A Japanese psychedelic rock band creating concept albums, rock operas, and multimedia mythologies for the internet age - and trying to Beat the Beatles.
