"Spirit Boat Procession" is a solemn and poetic piece inspired by Shoro-nagashi, a traditional Japanese ritual in which lanterns are set afloat on rivers
to guide departed souls toward the afterlife.

Against the hush of summer nights, the sound of insects, flickering flames, and prayers dissolving into the water intertwine.
Written in a classical, archaic tone, the lyrics portray not only farewell and grief, but also the quiet hope of spiritual continuity and reunion.

The river becomes time, the lanterns become life, and their fading light crosses the darkness, returning gently to a sea of peace.
