Dependence is not weakness. As the flower language "bond" suggests, the more vines tangle, the stronger the bond becomes.
In the moment the chorus modulates a semitone from F#m to Gm, the question "isn't this not weakness?" transforms into the answer "weakness becomes bond." As synth shimmer pads spread thin across the sky, the morning glory looks up at the morning sky "next to you."
