This song is based on the concept that the world we perceive through the 5 senses isn't what really is but rather an illusion, an interpretation. Like the optical illusion of a Mirage. It also explores the paradox of being frustrated not being able to see the real truth, being human, and at the same time appreciating being able to experience through the senses and exploring the collision of darkness and light within.

After learning music production and engineering skills in NYC, She moved to Tokyo where she truly found her inspiration. Influenced by 90s Trip-hop, her Japanese roots and her music engineering background UKICO creates a unique spiritual universe merging sampled drum sounds, textures, dreamy/dark synth, traditional Japanese instruments and sultry vocals.
