The latest release, "FR WIFI", represents a milestone in Skaai's pursuit of deeper sonic exploration over the past year. Entering 2025, Skaai launched his independent label also named FR WIFI, and announced plans to release an album under it within the year.
This single, which bears the name of the label, offers a candid yet ambitious reflection on Skaai's approach to music, his dedication to band-driven sound, and his vision for the future of his artistry.
The track was created in collaboration with long-time producer uin, guitarist/producer yuya saito (yonawo), and producer BadFriends. It also features Takato Kumashiro on bass and MISAKI UMEI on keys. Together, through live sessions, they captured and distilled the energy and excitement into a single powerful track.
