Quantum Orange

Short QO is the fusion and friendship of Berlin-based musician Rosa Anschütz and Tokyo-based musician Julia Shortreed.
They met when Rosa travelled to Japan by herself in 2016 and decided shortly after playing at the same gig at Hot Buttered Club Shibuya to deepen their exchange and relationship with music.
Going back and forth between Berlin and Tokyo in the year after, the first songs emerged, which were only able to be realised fully in the Summer of 2023 together with Rosa Anschütz's longtime collaborator, Jan Wagner.
Quantum Orange will release the first EP from Bindividual Records this year in July and present the songs in Tokyo on July 20th.
