"YAMI CARIBE" is the debut album by MARIYA VICE, a Japanese artist blending jirai-kei emotional darkness with contemporary reggaeton and Latin urban music.

Across ten tracks, the album transforms obsession, unread messages, location sharing, emotional instability, ex-lovers and late-night loneliness into deep dembow rhythms, warm sub bass, dry percussion and melancholic nylon guitar.

MARIYA VICE moves between intimate whispers, emotionally charged melodies and cool, controlled rap. Rather than portraying a bright tropical paradise, the album takes place in a humid world of worn resort walls, white plastic chairs, cheap perfume, cracked phone screens and the quiet light before sunrise.

Memorable lines such as "Paradise over paranoia," "My tears come with interest," and "Close you, open the morning" appear throughout the album without relying on repeated title chants.

Beginning as a midnight escape and ending with a return to the self, "YAMI CARIBE" unfolds as one continuous night of desire, anxiety, rhythm and recovery.
