"I want to hear your voice, I want to see you right now..."
A pure and bright love song, a rarity among Ryu's tracks, returns with a fresh voice and a brand-new arrangement.
Originally featured as the well-received opening number of Ryu's 1st album One Scene as a Vocaloid (Hatsune Miku) track, the song will be reborn and released on April 24th as "Flowers ('26ver) feat. NAMI", featuring the virtual AI vocalist, NAMI. As a pure and bright track that stands out in Ryu's discography, it expresses the innocent desire of dying to see someone you love. Through unadorned and straightforward lyrics, it captures the days of exchanging words through a smartphone screen and the simple happiness of just being by their side.
Written and composed by Ryu, having the AI vocalist sing this original track brings out its positive and straightforward feelings more directly. The lyrical and emotional melody reaches a new step thanks to the fresh arrangement and the expressive AI vocals that differ distinctly from the original Vocaloid version.
The jacket artwork once again features Moka Komorebi, who serves as the visual muse across several of Ryu's albums. Showing a different facet of her expressions with each release, her presence beautifully complements this heartwarming tale of a protagonist trying to deliver unspoken feelings through a bouquet of flowers.
Ryu started DTM in university and has been creating mainly songs that he wants to listen to. Based on J-POP, his songs feature lyrical melodies and carefully written lyrics about joy and sadness, combined with the natural singing of Hatsune Miku in a sad but easy-to-hear way. The song Groove of Love from his 6th album was used as a commercial song for the Spoon app.
