Sandii has grown into a Kumu Hula, carrying on the traditions of Hawaii. In recent years, she has devoted her energies to Hawaiian and Tahitian music and dance, finally creating a new world music for the 21st century.
Sandii is joined by BUN of the ethnic ensemble unit KOH-TAO, who plays the gentle yet timeless sounds of the Kalimba (thumb piano), an African instrument of his own composition, while Sandii's voice travels the globe.
From Hawaii to Tahiti to Okinawa. The sound of traditional Asian percussion instruments can also be heard, and the accompaniment is by Earth Conscious. All original 12 songs.
