Tokyo-based two-piece indie rock outfit KLEPTO are set to kick off their discography with a statement. "I've got some shoes" is a high-voltage rock cut built on fuzzed-out guitars that wear their UK rock influences on their sleeve - loud, hooky, and impossible to sit still to.

Produced by Dai Okumura, whose production credits span Japanese rock heavyweights Creephyp and Sawao Yamanaka, the track pairs a raw garage energy with a sound sharp enough to travel well beyond its Tokyo origins.

Formed in 2019 in Asakusabashi by two university friends - BNKN (bass) and SJM (guitar/vocals) - KLEPTO are hitting the ground running: a music video drops on release day, a pre-save campaign launches one week prior, and a Spotify advertising push targeting Japan, Southeast Asia, and North and South America follows immediately after release. Further singles are lined up for July and August, with a mini album due in September 2026.
