Zen Piano
Born into a devout Protestant family, he grew up surrounded by church music from an early age. During his university years, he formed a jazz piano trio and gained attention for performances that reimagined both jazz standards and Japanese childrens songs in a contemporary style. Since then, he has collaborated with a wide range of musicians, performing in diverse settings including live houses, large concert halls, churches, kindergartens, and outdoor stages.
