  Mokcians is a four-piece band based in Osaka, formed in 2023. Centered around brothers Yusuke Kato (vocals, bass, steel pan) and Ryosuke Kato (drums), the group also features Yuki Kanamori (guitar) and Mitsuhiro Hachimori (saxophone). Driven by the ambition to create band music that no one has heard before, Mokcians have developed a distinctive sound that moves freely across genres including jazz, soul, funk, Japanese kayokyoku and folk music, as well as traditional music from around the world. Their music blurs the boundaries between pop songs and instrumental music, resulting in a unique and genre-defying approach.
