前作がややダークなトーンを持っていたのに対し、本作は「光」と「希望」をテーマにしたEDM作品となった。
夜のネオン、燃え上がる感情、そして空へと向かうような高揚感。
アルバム全体を通して、暗闇の中でも前へ進むエネルギーを描いている。

序盤はネオンに包まれた都会の夜をイメージしたトラックから始まり、次第に感情の高まりとともに音のスケールも広がっていく。
中盤では少し切なさを帯びたメロディが現れ、失われた光や記憶を振り返るような時間が流れる。

しかしアルバムの後半では、再び上昇するエネルギーが現れ、タイトル曲「Higher Than the Stars」でそのピークを迎える。
夜空を突き抜けるようなサウンドが、本作のテーマである「高く、明るく」というイメージを象徴している。

最後のトラック「光のリズム」は、日本語で歌われる楽曲としてアルバムを締めくくる。
静かな夜明けのような空気の中で、これまでの旅を優しくまとめるエンディングとなっている。
