This piece is an arrangement for violin, clarinet, and piano trio, featuring an original introduction added to the string orchestra version of a composition by the Italian composer Ottorino Respighi (1879-1936). The refreshing melody in 3/4 time, evoking bright sunlight, is quoted from an anonymous 16th-century collection of lute pieces.

  • Phidias Trio

    2017年に結成。これまでの主催公演では、現代の優れた作品を取り上げるとともに、 オーストリア、ラトビア、アルゼンチン、ブラジル、チリ、トルコ、韓国、日本の作曲家の新作を初演し、好評を博す。また、ハニャン現代音楽祭（韓国・ソウル）や、日本作曲家協議会主催「日本の作曲家2021」等、数々のプロジェクトに招聘されている。2021年12月に出演した日本現代音楽協会主催「ペガサス・コンサート vol.3」の公演の模様は、NHK-FM「現代の音楽」にて、2週に渡って放送された。2023年・2024年、読売新聞に掲載の「評論家4氏が選ぶ今年の公演ベスト3」にて、主催公演「Phidias Trio vol.9 “Re-interpret”」「Phidias Trio vol.11 “In-between”」が選出される。2024年4月、レーベル「蛍光資料」より、「Works for Violin, Clarinet & Piano - Francesconi, Watanabe, Manoury, Hong」をリリース。
