A veranda at the end of summer, a single candle, damp sparklers, sparks thinning from full bloom toward their final scatter, and a small fireball that drops and sinks into darkness create a quiet scene where tracing alone a fire once lit by two reveals the gap between the one who watches and the one who looks away.
