A TRIBUTE TO ERIC CLAPTON "PLEASE BE WITH ME"

DR.GEN will be familiar to many as the founder member of the Eric Clapton tribute band, Dr. Gen & The Sunsets, who have been together now, still with the original line-up, for over 30 years, but also as a fanatical collector of guitars, amplifiers, memorabilia and accessories from every stage of Eric's long career. Some 120 guitars and over 50 amplifiers, many highly collectable vintage models, reside in his home near Hiroshima. And now, in celebration of his 60th birthday, with a solo project delayed by the COVID pandemic, Gen presents this collection of some of his favourite Clapton songs, oft-neglected, it has to be said, by their author on the live stage, but in his own style, and with the backing of top Japanese session musicians.
