MAIKI ", an up-and-coming SSW based in Kumamoto, will release a 5-song EP "miss you" on 2024/2/2(Fri)! MAIKI has been performing live and creating original songs with her soulful and clear voice. In her debut single "Jewelry" released last December, she performed a superb love song with LoFi and Mellow city pop with a pleasant flow. The songs on this album "miss you" are 5 songs carefully selected and compiled from the songs he created during the period when he was unable to perform live at the Corona Disaster. MAIKI
Born in Kumamoto Prefecture in 1998. MAIKI" is a male singer-songwriter who freely navigates through various genres of music with his clear and sweet voice. Influenced by his father, he was influenced by Lauryn Hill, Grover Washington Jr. and Rage Against the Machine in his childhood, and started creating original songs at the age of 19. He released his first single "Jewelry" in 2023 and his first EP "miss you" in 2024, and has released music videos for "miss you" and "don't wake up" from the miss you EP. He has also participated as a featured artist in numerous other rap artists' works.
