Pressure Field is a sonic trace of personal, political, and environmental pressures.

Each track is a snapshot of a specific place or moment:
the relentlessly escalating heat of every summer, neoliberalism embodied in a prime minister, the noise of the Fukushima power plant, sine waves in the rain

Takuma Matsunaga, ACE COOL, Rinsaga, May J., and many others have entrusted him with compositions. His work spans theater music, film scores, fashion movie sound design, and experimental sound art. As a member of the acclaimed band yahyel, he has contributed to shaping one of Japans most forward-thinking sonic identities.

With this solo debut, Miru Shinoda distills years of collaborative and cross-disciplinary experience into a personal statement, merging pop sensibility, avant-garde texture, and an acute sensitivity to contemporary culture.
