Akoorum's third album "mind, white" is his first release in two years after his first and second albums, which were mainly lo-fi hiphop and instrumental beats. Focusing more on "facing one's inner self and expressing it as sound," the band has established a production style that does not depend on any musical format.
Therefore, the songs on this album include lo-fi house, noise/avant-garde, and even film-like music that incorporates environmental sounds, and while the emphasis is on beat music, Akoorum's "sense (of self) first," which lightly skips over genres, or should we say, "sense first," is more important than formality, as he puts his own context into his expression. The style of "mind, white," which emits a lustrous and bewitching light like the album cover designed by Japanese-style painter Nodoka Murakami, is an album that shows Akoorum's eccentric talent as a musician.
