"SHANTI" An Album of Prayers from Around the World

This is a prayer-themed album consisting of nine tracks, created through my first crowdfunding project, the PRAYACTION Project. Each piece features sacred words of prayer and mantras from various cultures around the world, woven together with original melodies.

The album title, "SHANTI", means "Inner Peace".

Artist Profile

  • Haruna Yamaguchi

    1985, born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. During high school, she studied abroad at an international school in Canada, where she formed the piano and vocal unit Dew with a classmate. From 2008 to 2011, Dew was signed to Victor Entertainment, and she continued performing as the group's pianist and backing vocalist until 2023. She began her solo career in 2012 and released her first solo album, Joy, in 2017. In addition to her creative work, she is currently active in hospitals and care facilities, providing musical support for patients and their families. Her work accompanies them through changes in both mind and body, from end-of-life care and bedside vigils to bereavement and grief care for families, offering comfort and presence through music.
